ABOUT ME
I am a creative, independent and ambitious award-winning, qualified journalist with an editorial background in news, travel and lifestyle and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing.
A digital native, I can turn my hand to any subject and style and am highly skilled in interviewing and feature writing. I relish producing engaging, edifying and witty content.
My work has been published in: MailOnline, The Mail on Sunday, The Daily Mail, The Guardian, The Sun, The London Evening Standard, Daily Express, Balance, Lonely Planet Traveller and Wanderlust, to name a few.
I have a Masters degree in Journalism and an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages. I can speak French and Italian and have lived and worked in both countries.
I am confident with SEO; content, social media & email marketing (Twitter, Tweetdeck, Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram & MailChimp); Google Analytics; PPC; various CMS (including Wordpress & Escenic) as well as Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, Photoshop and InDesign); and Microsoft Office.
An avid reader, I am never without a book, be it by Kazuo Ishiguro or SJ Watson; I enjoy a range of theatrical productions – from Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein and Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Touch to Oscar Wilde’s A Woman of No Importance and stand-up comedy.
A seasoned traveller, I have been all over the world, meeting Masai warriors in Zanzibar, swimming with sharks in Belize and sampling Michelin-starred food in Spain.
Other interests include visiting museums and art galleries, music, cooking and fitness.
I am available for freelance commissions. Please get in touch if interested.
